The Way Forward
Not much has changed, but I’m writing a novel that I aim to self publish. Also, suffering isn’t here for perspective. It’s just here.
Underway
No matter. The decision will be made, and one will leap into my hands and I will have to carry it to term and birth it and, despite myself, release it someway, somehow.
I hate to use this blog as a stream of consciousness for working through these kinds of decisions. But it seems to have helped. I feel, even though I have no clear direct plan of action, some clarity has come.
Limbo Just Hit
As far as priorities, I do have some kind of process for which to invest my current time and energy into. A lot of it has to do with asking ChatGPT for advice so I can see where to put my energies. Some other part of that is asking friends and mentors for advice, for generally more practical (and often less technical) perspectives.
[EDIT: This Went Off The Rails] The Future Is Coming: My Take on Stephen Haag’s “The Fourth Industrial Revolution”
The promise of the blockchain might mean true security, and data ownership, instead of what we have now, which is the buying, selling, and trading of data at rates more valuable than oil, with the creators of that data receiving little to nothing for it.
A Successful Day, And One To Emulate
Isn’t that so strange? To acknowledge the effectiveness of a day in comparison to others, recognizing the value in it, yet still treating the result of it with disinterest and apathy? But this is a way to break with that type of behavior, by acknowledging it here, so hurrah to growth and attempts at allowing oneself to breathe and expand and sit in honesty of the moment, rather than reduce and trivialize real work.
Accountable in 2023
I believe that maybe it could be time to share what I’ve seen, what my lantern has alighted upon in the hopes that we can better connect--I can better connect--the paths I’ve made with the paths that others make.
